Welcome bloggers! Sorry I’m about 24 hours late posting this!  My blog here is relatively new, so EVERY post on it is probably new to you, but here’s the one I’ve chosen to re-share with you all today. a-day-in-the-life

Hi, I’m no expert, but something Alex J. Cavanaugh, ninja, founder of the must-be-infamous Insecure Writers Support Group, and Amazon best-selling sci-fi author,  said in a comment to another post on another blog, made me think. Maybe I really can inspire or help another writer. So, in case I can, I’ve decided to try and blog about my publication journey (with some helpful links along the way).

So, today, I will take you through the writing of Long novel, Plotless novel, Co-written novel, Emotional novel, THE NOVEL, and Grief novel. 🙂 I may need to backtrack at a future date to provide more detail behind the writing of each.

1989ish

I started writing at a young age, and then “real life” took over, so I stopped daydreaming, stopped singing in the car, and stopped writing.

    I can’t believe how similar our two stories are! It’s eerie! However, I will say that when real life took over, I never stopped singing in the shower. 🙂

    Thank you for re-sharing this again. I consider it recommended reading for all aspiring writers. 🙂

      Ha, that’s funny. I need to remember how to relax and take time for the small enjoyments in life, let some of the To-Do list that’s constantly running through my head go sometimes!

    I don’t think a lot of writers realize how long a row it can be to hoe, from concept to publication, let alone from concept all the way to “I have a writing career. ” Transparency from the people in the trenches is always helpful. Thanks for sharing.
